There's some cache file that needs to be deleted if you tried to connect to the server without having the blacklist blocked (it's a dat file i think)

Well then I can't be of any help but wonder if there's a new way for the client to check the greylist but my bet is more on something not quite working on your end.

Yes im 100% sure.
Maybe there is a new way or adress for the new Ts3 Client version ?
In the old version it works fine...

I've been told there's no work-around with the new client just like blacklist, might be wrong tho.

So I've checked, it's the same domain. It's just that teamspeak seems to not care about the host file anymore xD (which is really weird)

Blocking the resulting IP (firewall) works but that's not a real solution since it's bound to change.

what do you mean? it doesn't count if someone has the host files or not?
maybe it has something to do with the teamspeak accounts and with that way they transfer data directly?

I have checked while not having created a myteamspeak account. From a network dump it just seems to ignore the host file and ask the dns anyway, which doesn't seems like a trivial thing to do.
That means that it also bypasses DNS caching in windows, so waste of bandwith.

well, technically it's still in beta so let's wait and see

i know that. if you have version 3.1.0.1 it says stable and in 3.0.19.4 it says nothing BUT if you have 3.0.19.4 it says stable for it and in 3.1.0.1 it says beta. (that's wierd too - and that's why i say it's still in beta)

How did you blocked the IP?
When i block the IP via Windows Firewall the Message Appears anyway.
