TS3 MyBB plugin : not changing any groups

Hello,

I just created a MyBB forum on my VPS (using LAMP) and installed that plugin : https://github.com/TerranUlm/MyBB-Plugin-Teamspeak3-Sync
I configured it and all, but there's something I don't understand (I'm probably retarded )...

I've been running the task from the MyBB's Task Manager and it executes well, but the thing is that there's simply no user entering the TS, so I don't really get how I could sync TS groups and forum groups without a user doing it.
So I just re-read the entire wiki and I saw that on the beginning ("TS3 setup" part), the dev says something about creating another "ServerQuery account".
That's exactly what I didn't understand. I assume this means that the user should be that "ServerQuery account", but I don't understand how I could create that account, even through YATQA.

Anyways, I'd appreciate the fuck out of you if you guys could help me with that !

Well you cant see the client because its a query. You have to enable seeing queries in the bookmark

Go to extras in teamspeak and create a serverquery login. Choose a name and enter the password + name in the plugin settings

Query clients are only visible to admins (if they enable it in their client) by default.

Ok, so I created a new SQuery account the way you told me to do so but nothing is happening (no user (bot) connecting to the server). Also, I don't see the "Server Query account" I created on the users database so I can't give it a group.

You cant see the bot if you dont enable it in your settings. The bot automatically has your groups.

I enabled it in my settings (bookmark) but as I told you, no bot/user is connecting to the server... I really don't know why its not working .

is MY-WBSITE.COM the query username? You still have to set the Server Guest Channel Group
Is the hostname directly pointing to the TS IP? It can't be behind a reverse proxy like cloudflare

Then you should open an issue on their github page. I don't know why it's not working
