Teamspeak 3 ClientQuery "abuse"

There seemed to be a way to "(ab)use" ClientQuery in versions prior to 3.1.3. Now after the "exploit" was "fixed" we could atleast dig into it.

It wasn't an exploit, it just allowed anyone to connect.

As far as i heard, it goes a bit deeper than that. I mean it "allowed anyone to connect" for ages. why should they quickly push a patch now?
