Apparently our Russian hosting provider decided to kindly reinstall our server OS. How very wonderful of them! I go SSH into the main server to find nothing, nowhere --- just a fresh Debian install, fucking awesome! Cheers m8.. this is not funny --- at all.

You had order the dedicated server X "X" at X's feb. Our system had not apply the correct installation of the operating system, so our specialists has reinstall OS in manual mode.
IP X.X.X.X is a public IP of technical support specialists.
OS is currently works with no issue. The rental period is starting at X'th Feb.

Shit happens. They just probably reinstalled the wrong server regardless what they are trying to tell you. Could be some bug in their automated system, too. Very scary indeed... reading this story i have just realised what i would feel if they did something like that at OVH. All my stuff, scripts, containers, etc. Seems like you may need to setup a really good backup system out there (rsync mysql backups hourly to some vps or setup replication or whatever).

Their official website is located here: https://www.bahnhof.se/ --- this is a much better representation of their services. Not their under maintained .net domain --- they are great for privacy, I have heard. We would need a physical server to have with them (colocation).
