Headache !! Cant install the TS Server on Linux !

I have spent all day trying to install a TS Server.

1.- I Installed Linux Debian 8 on a Virtual Machine.
2.- Tried to run the ts script to install it on the VM.
3.- Error comes on !!.....

that's because the script doesn't work on Debian!
Download the files from the spoiler "Downloads" and upload them to your server.

The problem now is that one friend and i have packet loss issues and high ping, we are from other cities, but the internet provider is the same, and other users with another internet provider are good, no high ping and no packet loss. All of us have good ping and no packet loss on games, other programs etc...

What it's the problem? Ports?... config?

Internet Connection: 150Mb Down / 40Mb Up
Virtual Machine (Hyper V): Debian 8 , 8Gb RAM , 2 Cores

i got a server and in the next 15 minutes i saw my logs and someone was trying to ddos me....so...you see my point.

Yeah but, how do you explain that some ppl have normal ping and no packet loss (They have diferent internet provider), when me and more ppl with the same provider have high ping and packet loss ?

But in games we are fine, no packet loss, normal ping under 40ms... that's why im asking if there's some configuration on ports, or teamspeak server, or the version of linux, teamspeak version etc... that could be causing this.

I'm not an expert on this but i want to learn, i dont expect answers like "I would recomend you to simply spend 2/3€ and buy a VPS on some OVH Reseller " like someone said to me on chat.
